Robert McKown is president of XMi Human Resource Solutions. He has over three decades of far-reaching business and human resource experience in leadership and organizational development, team building, training, outplacement and employee relations. Mr. McKown has distinguished himself as an expert in leadership and strategic human resources, serving as a consultant, mentor and coach to a broad range of professionals in diverse organizations.
Prior to joining XMi, Mr. McKown managed and owned The RHM Group for 18 years, a Nashville-based consulting firm which specialized in custom solutions to meet the human resource, leadership, training, outplacement and business needs of all types of organizations nationwide. He merged his business and its clients with XMi Human Resource Solutions in July 2007.
During his corporate career, Mr. McKown has managed the human resources, labor relations, training and continuous improvement functions for divisions of major corporations, including Amstar Corporation (Domino Sugar) and Ingersoll-Rand Company.
Mr. McKown is a leader in his field. He is president of The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Middle Tennessee Chapter. As a certified career consultant and trainer, his contributions to the industry include taking a lead role in developing a distinctive Leadership Development Program to train local high-potential human resource professionals in strategic business leadership skills. He also serves as an instructor for human resources and legal workshops conducted by National Business Institute.
His work within the human resource industry was recognized by the Tennessee SHRM Council where he was awarded its 2005 Human Resource Management Excellence Award for his exceptional contribution to the human resource profession. He also received the 2004 Outstanding Member of the Year award from the Middle Tennessee SHRM for his service to his chapter.
Lynn Hutson, SPHR

Lynn Hutson is client services manager of XMi Human Resource Solutions. She has over 10 years of management experience in human resources. She is responsible for providing human resource consulting and building customer relationships.
She holds the senior professional in human resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), a designation that signifies Mrs. Hutson’s commitment as a human resource professional and her high level of professional experience and competence in the HR field. As a SPHR, she demonstrated proficiency and experience in all facets of the HR industry, including strategic management, workforce planning & employment, HR development, employee & labor relations, risk management, and knowledge of the U.S. federal laws, regulations and practices.
Mrs. Hutson previously served as the non-clinical recruitment manager for Vanderbilt University & Medical Center. She is an active member of The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Middle Tennessee Chapter.
Elaine Nichols
Payroll Manager

Elaine Nichols is payroll manager for XMi Human Resource Solutions where she oversees the management of over 70 different employee groups with payrolls exceeding $30 million and 1,000 employees.
She has over 30 years of experience in the payroll industry and has been with XMi for the past 10 years where she began as a payroll specialist.
Ms. Nichols is a certified payroll professional (CPP), a designation by the American Payroll Association that signifies Ms. Nichols’ high level of professional experience and competence in the payroll field and is regarded as the most respected distinction in the payroll industry. As a CPP, Ms. Nichols demonstrated proficiency and experience in all facets of the payroll industry, including operations, taxation, systems, accounting and management, and successfully completed a comprehensive four-hour examination.
Tracy Jones
Senior Benefits Administrator
XMi Human Resource Solutions
Tracy Jones is Senior Benefits Administrator for XMi Human Resource Solutions. She is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering cost efficient benefit systems that are tailor-made for the specific needs of each client.
She specializes in non-routine issues dealing with eligibility and claims resolution, and maintains a working knowledge of federal and state laws including COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and Section 125.
Mrs. Jones is a licensed life and health insurance agent in Tennessee and Alabama and has 9 years of experience working in a benefits brokerage setting. Her benefits experience provides clients a tremendous resource in plan design, implementation and on-going administration. She has a Bachelors degree in Management and Human Relations and is a both a member of national SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) and Middle Tennessee SHRM.
